An award winning jazz guitarist( 1992 National Association of Independent Record Distributors award in the best jazz recording catagory for In A Sentimental Mood, two Cadence Jazz Magazine Editors Choice awards for his recordings and placement on the Grammy Awards Ballot three times in his career) Gerry has been featured on over fifty recordings as a leader, co-leader or contributing artist.  A consummate jazz and blues guitarist Gerry is also a composer and has recorded almost sixty original compositions in his career. His music has been used on the Learning Channel, Lifetime, NBC and ABC news as well as the Fox News Channel and The Sarah Silverman Show. An active performer across the USA and Canada Gerry is often seen in the company of legendary guitarist Jay Geils of the J.Geils Band, jazz legend Bucky Pizzarelli, guitarist Howard Alden, saxophonist Harry Allen and Grammy Winning Saxophonist and arranger Fred Lipsius from the seminal jazz rock band Blood, Sweat and Tears. He has had his music placed on the Grammy Awards ballot three times in his career for his recordings featuring David Grisman, Harry Allen and his group New Guitar Summit. Gerry is profiled with a full length entry in jazz critic Scott Yanows new book on jazz guitar,The Great Jazz Guitarists: An Ultimate Guide. Gerry has worked as a product clinician, endorser and technical expert for Benedetto Guitars, D’Angelico Guitars, Henriksen Jazz Amps and Allston Amps.  He has also an in demand educational concert/clinician at the high school and college level.

His latest CD is ” Blues In The Corner Pocket” features Gerry on guitar and Jesse Williams on acoustic bass.
